HM-D Trailers highly recommend the SAS Fortress Hitch Lock. The locks serve as an excellent deterrent against thieves aiming to steal your caravan or trailer. These locks can be easily installed when your towing vehicle is unhitched, and many models can also be used while stationary to secure your trailer or caravan to the vehicle. They are particularly useful for brief stops at motorway services, shopping car parks, or even outside your home. What trailers does it work on?

The SAS Fortress Hitch Lock fits all HM-D, Cheval, Debon and some Indespension trailers.

How do you use it?

The Hitch Lock can be used both hitched and unhitched on the trailer and comes with 3 keys as standard.

For this example, we are using an unhitched trailer. The lock is easy to use, simply unlock, then slide off the secondary silver part. From here, slide the main part of the red body onto the trailer, then slide the second silver part together and lock it up.
